The objective for the Theater District Podcast was to create a bolder, more compelling design presence to attract a wider audience and drive significant listener growth. The core design challenge was defining an authentic visual tone for the new website that reflected the show’s content: in-depth interviews with key members of the Washington, D.C. theater community, including directors, actors, costume designers, and writers.
I developed a complete rebrand and website aesthetic that balances professionalism with artistic expression. The new color palette was specifically designed to evoke the diverse emotional spectrum witnessed by an audience on the stage. This strategic visual identity successfully established the desired tone, creating a memorable and engaging platform for the podcast. In addition to a rebrand, I also created 4 static web, email, and social media advertisements.
